General Enrollment Procedures 

Enrollment at Bay Pines Lutheran School is a direct expression of our mission—to provide a Christ-centered education for the children of our congregation and community, preparing them for life on earth and for eternity.

Our admissions process is guided by our mission to give glory to God and to foster a school community rooted in faith, care, and excellence. At Bay Pines Lutheran, we openly and intentionally teach our Christian beliefs and faith life to our students, and—God willing—to their families as well.

We value transparency and partnership with parents and caregivers. As part of the admissions process, we invite families to learn more about what we teach through a Bible Information Course, so you can fully understand and support your child’s faith formation. Our desire is for more people to know and trust in Jesus as their Savior.

Above all, we seek to provide a safe, caring, and high-quality learning environment. These values shape our school culture and are reflected in our daily interactions, decisions, and commitment to serving our students and families with integrity and love.

Returning Families

Preferred application period through December 31st for current families, siblings, and Bay Pines Lutheran Church members.

Admission/Registration/Enrollment Process

  1. Click Existing Enrollment (Need to access current Gradelink account information. Contact the school office if help accessing is needed.)
  2. Complete registration forms and required paperwork (after application)
  3. Complete state scholarship application/information (tuition cost $9,000 for 2026-2027)
  4. Attend Registration Night

For returning students, enrollment is reviewed on an ongoing basis by the faculty and Board of Education. Returning families are considered accepted unless serious concerns arise. In such cases, families will be notified and informed of the next steps.

New Families

  • Applications are continually being received
  • New family applications will be considered starting January 1
  • Summer applications will need extra consideration
  • Applications after the start of school will need to be exceptional

Admission Process

  1. Inquiry…Online or with the office
  2. Tour…Principal, Teacher(s), Parent/Primary Caregiver(s) and Child – Share Mission/Purpose/Religious Stance/BIC/Fees/Tuition-Educational Concerns
  3. Apply. Please contact the office with questions.  727.397.3204 or office@baypineslutheran.com
  4. Provide records and recommendations from prior schools. 
  5. Student to attend Shadow day, if possible
  6. Faculty and Board of Education review/recommendation/approval

Registration Process

  1. Complete registration forms and required paperwork (BPLS registration forms / birth certificate, immunization certificate or exemption, school entry health exam, and other applicable forms)
  2. Complete state scholarship application/information (tuition cost $9,000 for 2026-2027)
  3. Attend Registration Night.

Enrollment Process

  1. Summer orientation meeting
  2. Attend Registration Night

 

All new students are considered on probation (academic/social/behavioral) through two grading periods. 

Florida Scholarships are available for all students, with additional tuition assistance available for those with exceptional needs by applying for a Bay Pines Congregational Grant.
